Orphan Shabbat, an initiative of HaTikva Families in partnership with Orphan Sunday of the Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO), is a global awareness day for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC).

Each November, thousands of events are organized by individuals, communities, organizations, and businesses across America and around the world to bring awareness to the plight of OVC with the unified goal that God's great love for the fatherless will resonate in their lives and in our hearts.
